Bresaola and Fresh Mozzarella Tartine
The end of Ramadan is near, which means it’s time to start planning the celebrations! If you are entertaining at home this week, add these festive and tasty tartines to your Eid table.
Featuring a classic combination of salty bresaola and fresh mozzarella, we generously drizzle slices of our organic country sourdough batard with olive oil before popping it in the oven for toasting. Once out of the oven we rub the bread with a garlic clove for the ultimate flavor boost. Topped with fragrant basil and lamb’s ear lettuce (use rocket as an alternative) for freshness, these tartines are the perfect appetizer for your next gathering. They look great on a wooden board for serving!
cooking time: 15 minutes
For the sourdough toast
- half a loaf of For the Love of Bread organic sourdough country batard, sliced
- extra virgin olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, peeled
Set the oven to 220°C. Arrange the bread slices on a sheet pan and brush each one generously with olive oil until fully coated. Place the sheet pan in the oven and let the bread toast for about 10 minutes until golden brown. Once toasted remove from the oven and immediately rub the garlic clove on the warm toasts.
