An ode to cinnamon crunch toast, our favorite childhood cereal. We’ve been eating reasonably well this Ramadan, but sometimes you need a little something sweet. Melted salted butter spread on our sourdough toast sprinkled with crunchy turbinado cinnamon sugar, it’s the salty, crunchy, sweet toast we dream of. The perfect treat between Iftar and suhoor with a cup of coffee, obvs.
cooking time: 5 minutes
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tbsp turbinado sugar
- salted butter
- 1 slice of For the Love of Bread organic country sourdough sandwich bread, well toasted
- sea salt for finishing
Mix the cinnamon and turbinado sugar till combined. Generously spread salted butter over the sourdough toast. Sprinkle generously with cinnamon sugar. Finish with a dash of sea salt and enjoy!
